Premiere Watch: Island (Part 2)

Reasons to watch: In case you’ve been holding your breath since Part 1’s cliffhanger ending, you can now breathe again. TVING’s Island concludes its run with its final six episodes, tying up all the mayhem that was previously unleashed on Jeju Island. Present-day craziness, ancient tie-ins, and all sorts of mythology are at play. While the drama might not have hit par for quality, it’s fun to have a campy action drama out there that’s giving its all.

TL;DR: Campy supernatural thriller completes its run

But the real question is -- will a split series like this count as one Bean or two?

I'm in Team Camp and unabashedly so! Let the viewing begin!

I'm watching this only for Kim Nam Gil but I feel like there wasn't enough of him in the first half (or am I just beeing too greedy?). He's all brood-brood-fly-kick-punch-stab-stab and then nothing. Not that I don't enjoy the action and the effort that goes into them, but he's grossly underutilized as an actor. We all know he can do so much more. Gah!

Oh my gosh I literally just discovered this was on Prime and binged part one... and part 2 is already here?! Blessings.

I hope Sung Joon will stop to play at hide and seek and they will give us more scenes between him and Kim Nam-Gil! I don't really care about the rest.

The two other fantasy dramas airing right now are so weak that I was longing for this one to return.

This was kind of cracky for me, so glad it’s back to finish its run!

I had to wait to watch this on the dark side and boy it was worth it! I loved everything, but especially Kim Nam-gil. Hope the wait for part two is not too long.

I’m all in to watch this train wreck. I have lost hope on it, but somehow I enjoy how bad it is.
